What is Needlepoint?

Traditionally, needlepoint is defined as embroidery done on canvas,
either by hand or by machine. Needlepoint can be done using a variety of threads, including cotton, wool, silk,
and even metal threads. Varying the stitches creates an effect of texture and depth.
